IN THE NEWS - "Notable Children's Books of 2006"

Looking for some great children's books?

Here are the children's books that NY Times thought were "notable" in 2006. They included “The End,” the final installment in the “Unfortunate Events” books by Lemony Snicket, "OWEN & MZEE: The True Story of a Remarkable Friendship" by Isabella Hatkoff, Craig Hatkoff & Dr. Paula Kahumbu, and "GOOD BOY, FERGUS!" written and illustrated by David Shannon.

My favorite books are still the classics - Goodnight Gorilla and Moonlight Moon.

My favorites is the Giving Tree and the Missing Link by Shel Silverstein! The guy looks scary but his children books are great!
